It is Okay to be Salty!

Que tal peeps!

Growing up I remember no one wanted to be salty. However, after learning about the benefits of Himalayan Sea Salt I do not mind being salty, or at least adding sea salt to my skin care routine! Sea salt has so many benefits, and it can help you achieve smooth soft skin for any time of the month.

Benefits of Himalayan Sea Salt

  • Purifies Pores this can help reduce acne
  • Smooths skin
  • Reduces cellulite, so you can have youthful skin
  • Reduces signs of aging by reducing winkles
  • Helps with skin issues such as eczema and dandruff

This sea salt comes in many textures and great for skin care. In my opinion the fine powder texture is awesome for facial scrubs, because this will not strip your skin. The more coarse textures can be used for body scrubs to help smooth out rough patches on heels, knees, or elbows. I have used Himalayan Sea Salt for face scrubs, body scrubs, and for foot soaks as well.

You can purchase Himalayan Sea Salt from 2 lbs for $9.99 but this is the amazon prime price.

DIY Grapefruit Candy Face Scrub

Note: if you want a body scrub can use the fine ground mixed with the texture that is one step up from the fine ground.

All you have to do is melt the coconut oil and allow to cool for a few minutes. Then add the apricot oil and essential oil. Once all the wet ingredients are mixed add the fine ground sea salt to the oil mixture.
