DIY Charcoal Mask

You can easily make this at home all you need is a few ingredients that you can get at your local store. There are a few different recipes.

Black Activated Charcoal Magic Mask

Ingredients

  • coconut oil (1/4 cup)
  • activated charcoal ( 3 capsules)
  • baking soda ( 1 teaspoon)
  • bentonite clay (1 tablespoon)
  • water (a splash)

Directions

You can really use any oil you want. Sometimes I add a lighter oil like apricot oil or I even replace the oil with aloe vera gel. Honestly, if you do not have the bentonite clay and baking soda you could get away with just using the activated charcoal, oil, and water. You can also use capsules or powder.

You would mix the dry ingredients and then ad the wet ingredients until all is blended well. Then apply to a clean face. I would use this after removing make up or after using a light cleanser. Once you apply to clean face you can let this stay on your face for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

If you would like to make this into a scrub just add sugar or sea salt!

Simple Recipe

Ingredients

  • Activated Charcoal

Directions

You would take Activated Charcoal and place on tooth brush. Brush teeth as normal. Rinse mouth and toothbrush. Then go over teeth with clean tooth brush. You would rinse again and you are finished.

Suggestion: I would have a special brush just for when you use the charcoal teeth whitener. I would say use this method once a day, and maybe at night time. However, that is just my suggestion. I am not a dentist.

If you would like more of a paste recipe you could use this one below.
